who we are

We are Nick and Suzanne Veltjens, and we met while serving together as volunteers on board the hospital ship the Africa Mercy. (www.mercyships.org)  We share a love for West Africa, and long to see local hospitals and clinics grow in their capacity to treat patients.  Most of all we love God, and want to share His love as we use our professions to benefit others.  In 2025 we are thrilled to have rejoined Mercy Ships along with our two young children!
